This sensor sticks right onto your windows and doors and pairs directly with your ClimateControl system.
You can set it up to turn off heating or cooling when a window or door opens.
When this sensor mounted on a window and the air conditioner is operating, the mode of the air conditioner will change from it’s current mode to “fan only”(only recirculating air) when the window is open for 2 minutes. As soon as the window is closed, the air conditioner will automatically turn back to it’s previous mode and continue operation.
This addition is very useful for holiday homes and Airbnb’s. It’s a simple way to stop wasting energy and save money on your electricity bill.
