Description
ClimateControl Module for Mitsubishi Electric Air-to-Water Heatpumps
Smarter control. Better comfort. Fully Plug & Play.
Our ClimateControl Module for Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan and Zubadan is designed to communicate directly with Mitsubishi Electric Air-to-Water or Water-to-Water heatpumps. This module enables you to get a lot of information from your heatpump and to control it through MQTT and HTTP GET API. No cloud connection is needed.
ClimateControl Module has been professionally developed, tested, and proven with many installations and does not require any soldering or tinkering with cables. It is fully Plug-and-Play!
Why Choose ClimateControl?
- Plug & Play Installation: No soldering required. Avoid damage risks to your heatpump system.
- Read & Control Your Heatpump: Monitor the heatpump status and adjust settings like temperature, mode, and power directly.
- Keep Existing Equipment: The module allows parallel connection with the original Mitsubishi Electric Wi-Fi adapter (MelCloud) or external temperature sensors connected to the CN105 port.
- Smart Home Integration: Supports Home Assistant and other systems via MQTT or HTTP GET, enabling advanced automations and dynamic energy pricing.
- Standalone Use: Features a web-based (local) user interface to monitor and control your heatpump even without home automation.
Features & Functionality
Secondary CN105 Port – Passthrough:
ClimateControl includes a secondary CN105 port. This makes it possible to connect the original Mitsubishi Electric Wi-Fi module in parallel to the ClimateControl module and keep all the functions of MelCloud. This is sometimes required for installations where external monitoring via MelCloud is mandatory (e.g. for subsidies).
Home Assistant Integration:
Fully supported and works Plug & Play through MQTT. There is a state topic available that outputs all available settings.
Web User Interface:
The ClimateControl module includes a web interface (see product pictures). This allows you to monitor your heatpump, even if you do not have a smart home system. It can operate stand-alone. With our web user interface you have also the ability to control parts of your heatpump like room temperature, on/off, force domestic hot water, etc. This user interface is only available on your local network and no data will be stored in the cloud.
HTTP REST API:
The state of the heatpump can also be read and controlled via HTTP GET requests.
Dynamic Energy Pricing:
The ClimateControl module allows you to control the heatpump based on dynamic energy prices through Home Assistant. This enables smart operation, such as heating your water boiler when electricity prices are low.
